The Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG is designed to enable a lens to focus closer than its normal minimum focusing distance, effectively magnifying your subject for macro photography. These tubes allow you to convert almost any lens into a macro lens at a fraction of the cost while maintaining original optical quality. The extension tubes contain no optics; they are mounted between the camera body and lens to increase the distance between the lens and the film plane or CCD sensor. This forces the lens to focus much closer than normal, with greater tube length allowing for closer focus.
